Gary Osterman, principal, is a registered architect with over thirty years in practice. He grew up in New York City and is a graduate of the Bronx High School of Science. After enrolling at the University of California, Davis to major in Environmental Science, he transferred to Arizona State University to complete a professional Bachelor of Architecture in 1981. From 1980 through 1986, he interned with design oriented architectural firms in Arizona and California, specializing in the design of Custom Single Family Homes, Medical and Commercial Offices and Corporate Interiors. In 1987, after completion of licensing in Arizona and California, he attended a year of sabbatical study in the graduate architectural program at the University of California, Berkeley. In 1988 he opened his private practice in Berkeley.
